When Fort Myers women come to Dr. Robert Mandraccia to discuss their breast augmentation options, they often have a number of cosmetic issues they wish to address. Finding the right procedure is crucial.

One common concern for women is breast sagging. Low, sagging breasts can be de-moralizing and negatively affect a woman's self-esteem. If this is your primary consideration, a breast augmentation might not be right for you.

An augmentation will alleviate mild sagging as part of the procedure; if you have relatively insignificant sagging concerns while also looking for larger, fuller breasts, an augmentation can achieve this. However, a breast lift is specifically designed to addressed severe sagging concerns.

With a breast lift, Dr. Mandraccia can lift and tighten your breasts, improving your profile and the overall attractiveness of your breasts. In circumstances where you have significant sagging concerns while also looking to enlarge your breasts, we can combine a lift and an augmentation.

Dr. Mandraccia will have a sensitive, comfortable conversation with you about your cosmetic goals and how to best achieve them. Our priority is always your safety.

If you're a Fort Myers, Florida woman considering a breast augmentation, please contact Dr. Robert V. Mandraccia today.

Dr. Robert Mandraccia has worked hard to establish himself as one of southwest Florida's premier facial plastic surgeons. However, he understands that plastic surgery is not an option for many people in the Fort Myers area. If you're one of these people, BOTOX(R) might be right for you.

BOTOX(R) essentially works by short-circuiting the dynamics that create wrinkles in your face. These are caused by the contractions of your muscles. Over time, these contractions result in lines, creases and wrinkles.

The contractions occur when your muscles receive contraction orders from your nerves. BOTOX(R), which is a refined, medically engineered form of the botulinum toxin, blocks your muscles from receiving these signals. As a result, your muscles don't contract.

Eventually, the muscles will relax and your skin will smooth out, eliminating the wrinkles and creases that have been bothering you.

This dynamic is temporary and will wear off over time, usually around the six-month mark. At that point you can return to Dr. Mandraccia for another BOTOX(R) treatment.

As a facial surgeon with decades of experience helping the people of Fort Myers, Dr. Mandraccia understands when surgery is appropriate and when it's not. He'll help you decide if BOTOX(R) is right for you, and your safety is always his foremost consideration.

If you're a Fort Myers, Florida resident and you want to speak to our facial surgeon about BOTOX(R) and your other options, please contact Dr. Robert V. Mandraccia today.

Dr. Robert Mandraccia understands that the price of cosmetic surgery is always going to be a concern for his Fort Myers-area patients. As a result, it's tempting when you see advertisements from doctors offering what seem to be great deals on cosmetic surgery.

These “great deals,” however, usually turn out to be anything but. The physical, psychological and financial costs of poor plastic surgery are immense, and the best way to avoid them is to choose a plastic surgeon you can trust.

Don't make your choice based on price. Make your choice based on a doctor's qualifications. Dr. Mandraccis is a board-certified plastic surgeon, which means he has demonstrated impressive, specialized experience and skill.

Many doctors offering cosmetic surgery procedures can't claim this. There's no legal requirement that a doctor have special training or experience before offering cosmetic surgery. Some doctors lake this training and experience but offer these procedures in an effort to enlarge their profits.

Their initial prices might be cheaper, but fixing poor plastic surgery is not cheap or pleasant. When you choose Dr. Mandraccia, you choose a doctor who has proven himself as a provider of safe, effective cosmetic surgery to the residents of the Fort Myers area.

If you live in the Fort Myers, Florida area and you're looking for a skilled, experienced plastic surgeon, please contact Dr. Robert V. Mandraccia today.

If you're like many of our patients, you've probably seen a lot of advertisements for so-called “lifestyle lifts.” These advertisements promise our Fort Myers-area patients a facial rejuvenation procedure that is safer and less stressful than the traditional facelift technique.

However, these promises are hollow. In truth, you get a much safer and more professional experience with a traditional facelift from Dr. Joseph Mandraccia and the anesthesiologists he's worked with for more than 20 years.

When you undergo a facelift from Dr. Mandraccia, you have the full attention of a surgeon who is devoted solely to the surgery, as well as the full attention of an anesthesiologist who is devoted solely to the anesthesia.

This is not the case for most lifestyle lift providers, who administer sedatives themselves and then perform the procedure.

You don't want this arrangement. Dr. Mandraccia has partnered with the same anesthesiologists for decades. Everyone involved is a trained professional, certified by the relevant boards and proven in their fields.

Dr. Mandraccia doesn't offer Lifestyle Lifts because they don't meet his standards of safety and effectiveness. He only performs proven, safe procedures, such as the traditional facelift technique. Our satisfied patients tell the tale.

If you're a resident of the Fort Myers, Florida area and you want to learn more about the advantages of the traditional facelift procedure, please contact Dr. Robert V. Mandraccia today.

At Dr. Robert Mandraccia’s office, we’re admittedly quite conservative about which cosmetic surgery procedures we offer to our Fort Myers-area patients. This is because our number one priority is your safety.

We know there are a lot of cosmetic surgeons in south Florida who make a point of offering the newest, most “innovative” procedures. And we understand that can sound appealing.

However, there’s a reason traditional procedures have achieved that status, and it’s because they work. The cosmetic surgeries Dr. Mandraccia performs all boast excellent track records, both in terms of effectiveness and safety.

Dr. Mandraccia thoroughly studies the wisdom of any procedure before he decides to offer it. He reads the studies and the relevant medical reports, and lets the long-term effects of these procedures become clear.

He also understands the importance of staying up-to-date on the newest developments in cosmetic surgery. Doing so is the only way to maintain board certification in plastic surgery.

But our decisions regarding which procedures to perform are based entirely on the medicine, not the economics.

If you live in or around Fort Myers, Florida and you’re considering cosmetic surgery, please contact Dr. Robert V. Mandraccia today.

Fort Myers-area women considering breast implants usually hope to achieve a natural, subtle look after their breast augmentation. If this is your most significant priority, than Dr. Robert Mandraccia might recommend the silicone breast implant option.

You have a number of choices to make when you decide to undergo a breast augmentation, and they all have advantages and disadvantages. However, silicone implants tend to look and feel more natural than saline implants.

There’s understandably a bit of concern about the safety of silicone breast implants. However, silicone implants have been back on the market for nearly a decade after the Food and Drug Administration extensively studied their safety.

The subtlety of your implants will rely to a large extent upon the skill of your plastic surgeon, which is part of the reason that decision is so important. Dr. Mandraccia has decades of experience helping women like you achieve their cosmetic goals.

He will help you decide if saline or silicone implants are right for you.

If you live in the Fort Myers, Florida area and you’re considering breast implants, please contact Dr. Robert V. Mandraccia today.

There are a number of misconceptions surrounding the liposuction procedure. Perhaps the most prominent is that it’s an effective treatment for Fort Myers-area patients who are looking to lose a great deal of weight.

However, liposuction is not a weight loss procedure. It’s only appropriate for patients who are at or near their ideal bodyweight. Patients who are significantly overweight are not sound candidates for the procedure.

You may lose a couple pounds after your liposuction procedure, but this is not guaranteed, and in any case it won’t be a significant figure.

Liposuction is a body contouring procedure that is particularly useful for Fort Myers-area patients who have recently lost a great deal of weight, but still find themselves with stubborn deposits of fat. These often won’t respond to diet or exercise, which makes them excellent candidates for liposuction removal.

Dr. Robert Mandraccia will only perform a liposuction procedure if it’s right for you. That means thoroughly evaluating your current state of health and your cosmetic goals to determine if the procedure is appropriate for your specific needs.

If you live in the Fort Myers, Florida area and have questions about liposuction, please contact Dr. Robert V. Mandraccia today.

It’s easy and tempting to get caught up in the pursuit of the newest and most “innovative” surgical techniques. Many Fort Myers-area patients looking for a facelift have been enticed by so-called “lifestyle lifts,” a new form of the facelift procedure that is supposedly less invasive than traditional techniques.

However, the reality is that these lifestyle lifts don’t offer advantages over the sort of proven, established techniques offered by Dr. Robert Mandraccia. The claims made in their advertisements are not supported by the facts. And sadly, some patients have come to Dr. Mandraccia for help after they were dissatisfied with the results of their lifestyle lifts.

Dr. Mandraccia is committed first and foremost to your safety. And when a facelift is the procedure in question, safety is certainly paramount; a mistake or a poorly designed procedure can leave a patient with significant, hard-to-fix cosmetic issues.

At Dr. Mandraccia’s office, we stick with what works. Our facelift procedures are proven and come with impressive safety records, which is why we utilize them. Fort Myers-area patients looking for a tighter, revitalized facial appearance will get everything they need from our facelifts.

Fort Myers cosmetic surgeon Dr. Robert Mandraccia understands how important a full, thick head of hair is for his patients. If you’re losing your hair and you’re interested in achieving a youthful look, hair restoration may be right for you.

Dr. Mandraccia, a board-certified plastic surgeon, is the Medical Director of Advanced Medical Hair Centers. He works hard to stay up-to-date on the newest technologies and techniques in the hair restoration field so that he can offer you the safest, most effective treatments.

Our cosmetic surgeon will discuss all of your hair restoration options when you come in for a consultation. With follicular unit extraction, a common and effective hair transplant procedure, we can remove groups of one to four hairs known as “follicular units” from a donor area, then transplant them to another part of your body.

We can also use Plasma Rich in Growth Factors®, or PRGF, to ease and stimulate the hair growth process during a treatment. These growth factors, pulled from your own plasma, stimulate the regeneration of tissue in the treatment area.

If you’re a Fort Myers, Florida area resident and you want to speak to our cosmetic surgeon about your hair restoration options, please contact Robert V. Mandraccia, MD today.
