In addition to proving excellence in facial and cosmetic body surgery, Dr. Mandraccia is also the Medical Director of Advanced Medical Hair Centers (AMHC). AMHC works closely with patients in the Ft. Myers, Florida area to restore their hair growth using the latest technologies.
Over 100 million people in the U.S. suffer from either baldness or a form of cosmetic hair loss. This can make you look older than you are and is widely considered a social hindrance. If you’re ready to get your thick head of hair back, contact Dr. Mandraccia today to schedule a consultation.
Our Approach to Hair Restoration
Dr. Mandraccia, with AMHC, evaluates each unique individual’s hair challenges before recommending a personalized solution. Dr, Mandraccia utilizes several techniques for hair restoration, including:
- Follicle stimulation formulas
- Oral prescriptions (i.e. Propecia)
- Hair grafts - transplanting hair from the back of your head up to where it is thinning on the front or top of your head.
The two techniques Dr. Mandraccia utilizes for hair grafts/transplants are called MatrixGraftsSM and FineHairLineSM. These can be combined to artistically distribute your transplanted hair to look natural and full. And, due to the microscopic size of the grafts, there is little or no evidence that you’ve even had a surgical hair restoration procedure when you leave our office. You can learn more about each method on the AMHC website.
What to Expect During Your Surgical Hair Restoration Consultation
During your consultation, Dr. Mandraccia will ask you to share your personal concerns and objectives regarding your hair restoration with him. Then he will conduct an evaluation of characteristics of the hair you still have. Using all of this information, Dr. Mandraccia can formulate and recommend the right restoration process for you.
To find out more about our surgical hair restoration procedures, or the corrective restoration Dr. Mandraccia provides to patients who have had unsuccessful treatments, please call or email Dr. Mandraccia’s office today to schedule your confidential consultation.
