What to Expect the Day of Your Cosmetic Surgery

Naples, Bonita Springs, Estero and Ft. Myers, Florida

Dr. Mandraccia and his staff make it a top priority to explain your cosmetic surgery procedure clearly before your surgery ever begins.  You will have realistic expectations of what the procedure entails, what any associated risks may be, and what sort of recovery process you’ll be facing after your cosmetic surgery procedure consultation with Dr. Mandraccia.

On the day of your surgery, you’ll need to plan on having someone drive you home from our Health Center, because you’ll be groggy from the anesthesia and sore from the procedure.  Most people find it easier to have someone drive them to the Center, too. If you are having trouble finding a ride, please contact us – we can help arrange transportation.

Typically, Dr. Mandraccia will give you dietary instructions to follow – in most cases, you’ll abstain from food for 24 hours before the procedure.  This, however, depends on the type of cosmetic surgery procedure that is being performed.  Dr. Mandraccia and his staff will give you instructions based on the specifics of your situation

Our Health Center is clean and comfortable.  While we use only the latest, safest medical equipment, that doesn’t mean we want you to feel like you’re in a hospital.  Soft lighting, a quiet ambiance and a friendly staff are just some of the ways Dr. Mandraccia works to put you at ease.  Our cosmetic surgery center is our second-home, and we want you to feel welcome. Please take our virtual tour to learn more.
